Yahaya Animashaun is a Board-Certified Advanced Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has over twenty-five years of experience in psychiatric nursing care, managing patients with mental health crises, and caring for clients in both short and long-term settings.

 

Yahaya's goal for his clients is to make a difference in the community, starting with an optimal individual’s good mental health and self-empowerment. He has been providing proficient psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treating diverse psychiatric conditions across the lifespan since 2021. His professional strengths include the use of evidence-based treatment approaches and he provides initial assessments and follow-ups, medication management, hospital ER psychiatric liaison consultation, and collaborative care.
